  • Combat is fantastic; level design is excellent; characterisation and story are spot on; really makes you feel like The Dark Knight himself.
  • Maybe a little short; most of the Riddler challenges are, at times, blatant filler material; some boss fights are less epic than they should be; little replay value.

  • Batman: Arkham Asylum for PC is a great game. It looks good, it feels good, and it performs brilliantly. While it does have some touches which scream its console heritage from the highest tower, Batman: Arkham Asylum does come to the PC with some marke...

  • Abstract:  They say that you should never meet your heroes. Without doubt, there are enough examples to suggest you should never play your heroes in video games either. To be clear: the world does not need another bad superhero game. Rather good then that Rockste...

  • Abstract:  I was lucky enough to procure a copy of Arkham Asylum on its release date, and I've summarily thrashed it about, in the best interest of you-my readers. And now, put on your cape and cowl, Joker's gotten loose in the Asylum... It's up to you to stop hi...

  • I think best superhero game covered it.
  • Most mini-bosses play out the same, Can't re-play the game with unlocked gadgets and costumes
  • What I don’t understand for the life of me is why I was forced to download a 300 MB update to enable PhysX when the game was delayed by over a month just to implement that very same technology. Also like always Games for Windows Live feels the need...

  • Abstract:  Batman: Arkham Asylum is a remarkable game, the delivery of the story and pacing of combat and puzzles is first class. The game features elements of stealth, melee combat, puzzle solving and some simple platforming. The story briefly follows you as Bat...

  • As I've already mentioned in this review, I'm not exactly what you'd call a big fan of the Batman franchise, and thus my reactions during the development period of Arkham Asylum were more that of curiosity than actual excitement - Even when I...

  • Abstract:  Arkham Asylum starts with The Caped Crusader dropping off The Joker into Arkham – a high security mental asylum and home of the infamous Super Criminals of Gotham. Within minutes The Joker breaks free and takes it upon himself to capture and cause want...
